Math: 6th/7th/8th Grade

Our middle school math program builds a strong foundation in problem-solving, critical thinking, and real-world application. Students explore key concepts in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis while developing the skills needed for high school and beyond. Through engaging lessons, hands-on activities, and collaborative projects, we empower students to see math not just as numbers, but as a powerful tool for understanding and shaping the world around them.

ELA: 6th/7th/8th Grade

Our middle school English Language Arts program helps students become confident readers, writers, and communicators. Students engage with a variety of texts—ranging from classic literature to contemporary works—while developing skills in comprehension, analysis, and vocabulary. Writing instruction focuses on narrative, argumentative, and expository styles, encouraging students to express their ideas clearly and creatively. Through discussions, projects, and presentations, students build the literacy and critical thinking skills needed for success in high school and beyond.

Science: 6th/7th/8th Grade

Our middle school science program inspires curiosity and discovery through hands-on learning and exploration. Students investigate life, physical, and earth sciences while practicing observation, experimentation, and critical thinking. From lab experiments to real-world problem solving, students develop a deeper understanding of scientific concepts and how they connect to everyday life. This foundation prepares them for high school science courses and nurtures a lifelong love of learning about the world around us.

Spanish: 6th/7th/8th Grade

Our middle school Spanish program introduces students to the language and cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. Through reading, writing, speaking, and listening activities, students build foundational communication skills while expanding their vocabulary and grammar knowledge. Lessons are interactive and engaging, helping students connect language learning to real-life situations. By the end of middle school, students are prepared with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in high school Spanish and beyond.

Health/Phys Ed: 6th/7th/8th Grade

Our middle school Health and Physical Education program encourages students to build healthy habits for both body and mind. In Health, students learn about wellness, nutrition, decision-making, and personal responsibility. In Physical Education, they participate in a variety of activities and sports that promote fitness, teamwork, and lifelong skills for staying active. Together, these courses empower students to make positive choices, develop resilience, and lead healthy, balanced lives.

Social Studies: 6th/7th/8th Grade

The Teachers College Reading and Writing Project (TCRWP) is an approach to literacy instruction for students in elementary and middle schools with two primary goals: to improve students’ reading and writing, and to help children become lifelong, confident readers and writers who display agency and independence through work with teachers, collaboration with peers, and independent work.

Student Enrichment: 6th/7th/8th Grade

Our middle school Student Enrichment program gives students opportunities to explore interests beyond the core curriculum. From clubs and arts to leadership activities and academic support, enrichment programs foster creativity, collaboration, and personal growth. Students are encouraged to try new experiences, develop their talents, and build confidence while connecting with peers in meaningful ways. These opportunities help create a well-rounded middle school experience that prepares students for high school and beyond.
